TempestCO 5065: Getting Ready for Launch

A first look at the TempestCO 5065 experience: steady progression, player-driven trade, community play, and a fair server profile built for the long term.

A classic 5065 experience with a clear direction

We are getting TempestCO ready for launch, and we wanted to share a first look at the server profile we are building around the 5065 client.

TempestCO is focused on leveling, community, and trade. The goal is to create a server where progression feels rewarding, players have reasons to work together, and the economy is shaped by gameplay rather than shortcuts.

Progression that respects your time

The server is designed to offer a steady path through leveling, equipment improvement, mining, refinement, quests, bosses, and everyday character development. Progression should feel meaningful without turning every upgrade into a wall or a cash-shop requirement.

We are also keeping the classic identity of the 5065 client while improving the surrounding experience: a cleaner launcher, clearer client distribution, server-side quality-of-life work, and documentation that makes systems easier to understand.

The launcher is also being prepared for modern displays. The 5065 client can be configured for a 1920×1080 widescreen presentation, giving players a more comfortable view while keeping the classic client and gameplay intact.

Community and trade at the centre

A healthy server needs more than fast leveling. It needs reasons to meet other players, trade materials, compare builds, help newer characters, and build a reputation over time.

Our aim is for resources and upgrades to move through the player economy naturally. Mining, refinement, MoonBox rewards, LadyLuck, Field Bosses, quests, and other gameplay systems should all have a place in that economy.

Fair progression, not a shortcut shop

We are reviewing the Shopping Mall with a simple principle: convenience and cosmetics should not replace the game itself.

Gems and higher-grade Stones are being kept out of direct Mall sales so that gameplay sources remain relevant. Players can still work toward upgrades through the systems designed to provide them, including mining, refinement, events, rewards, and boss content.

That does not mean progression is meant to be punishing. It means the value of an upgrade should come from playing, earning, trading, and choosing how to spend your time.

A server still being prepared

These screenshots are a small look at the direction, not a promise that every system is finished. We are continuing to test the client, launcher, economy, progression rates, and website before launch.

The focus is straightforward:

  • preserve the feel of classic Conquer Online 5065;
  • make progression generous enough to stay enjoyable;
  • keep trade and community interaction important;
  • make rewards understandable and obtainable through play;
  • fix problems carefully instead of hiding them behind a rushed launch;
  • build a server that can grow with its players.

More information will follow as testing continues. For now, this is the direction: a classic 5065 server with a fairer progression model, a player-focused economy, and a community-first mindset.
