Patch 1.1.37 — New Adventure Areas, Inventory Improvements & Gameplay Updates

We're continuing to expand Tempest Conquer with new hunting destinations, inventory improvements, quality-of-life features, and further refinements to the browser client.

This update introduces three adventure destinations, including a new high-level hunting area, alongside improved inventory management, VIP item selling, redesigned ground-loot interactions, and a variety of visual and gameplay enhancements.

🗺️ New Adventure Areas & Travel System

We've expanded the world of Tempest Conquer with additional hunting destinations and a new travel system.

Players can now visit the Adventure Guide NPC in Twin City to access available adventure areas.

Adventure Destinations

Three destinations have been added:

  • Adventure Area 7.1 (Levels 82–97) — A hunting region populated by Huge Apes, Senior Apes, Alien Apes, and Senior Snakemen.
  • Adventure Area 7.2 (Levels 102–122) — A more challenging region featuring Serpents, Senior Serpents, Alien Serpents, and Basilisks.
  • New Island (Levels 120–140) — A high-level hunting destination featuring powerful Hades creatures and dangerous encounters.

Adventure Travel Costs

The new travel system makes reaching adventure areas easier while keeping teleportation accessible to everyone.

  • Non-VIP players receive one free teleport to each destination.
  • Additional visits to the same destination cost 25 CP each.
  • VIP players travel for free, without consuming their free visits.
  • Free visits are tracked separately for each character and destination.
  • Travel includes server-side destination and landing-point validation.

Each area also includes convenient local services, such as return transportation and medicine merchants, where available.

⚔️ New Island — High-Level Hunting

A new hunting destination has been prepared for characters progressing through levels 120–140.

New Island features several distinct hunting zones with increasingly challenging monsters.

Monsters & Hunting Zones

  • WaterHades — Levels 120, 125, and 130.
  • WoodHades — Levels 130 and 135.
  • HellTroll — Levels 135, 138, and 140.
  • Hades Lord — A powerful level 140 enemy.

Different parts of the island contain monsters suited to different stages of high-level progression.

The island has been arranged to provide dedicated hunting spaces while keeping the arrival village and its support NPCs clear of hostile spawns.

Hades Lord

Two Hades Lords are positioned in separate hunting zones.

  • Level 140.
  • Respawn time of approximately 5 minutes.
  • 100,000 Silver and 25 CP awarded per successful kill.
  • Experience follows normal combat and level-difference calculations.

These enemies offer an additional challenge and reward opportunity for high-level adventurers.

🐉 Adventure Area Monster Improvements

We've also expanded and reorganized monster spawns in Adventure Areas 7.1 and 7.2.

  • Increased monster density across both hunting regions.
  • Improved monster distribution across walkable terrain.
  • Reduced empty hunting spaces.
  • Removed overlapping and duplicate spawn locations.
  • Improved coverage throughout the different map sections.
  • Retained the existing monster species while providing more consistent hunting opportunities.

These changes aim to make both areas more suitable for extended hunting sessions and character progression.

🎒 Inventory Management — Tidy & Saved Layouts

We've made significant improvements to the inventory system, giving players more control over how their items are organized.

Inventory Tidy

A new Tidy function allows players to organize their inventory automatically.

Items are grouped into useful categories:

  1. Equipment, with enhanced equipment prioritized.
  2. Gems.
  3. Upgrade materials, including DragonBalls, Meteors, and composition materials.
  4. Consumables, skill books, and usable items.
  5. Quest items.
  6. Other items.

Equipment is further organized according to quality, enhancements, and other item properties.

Saved Inventory Positions

  • Inventory item positions are now saved between sessions.
  • Items can be moved into preferred slots.
  • Moving an item onto an occupied slot swaps their positions.
  • Receiving new items no longer automatically reorganizes your entire inventory.
  • The Tidy function only rearranges items; it does not consume, combine, or modify them.
  • Inventory layouts continue to support standard and expanded VIP bag capacities.

Whether you prefer manually arranging your inventory or organizing everything with one click, the choice is yours.

👑 VIP — Sell Junk Equipment

We've introduced a new Sell Junk feature for active VIP members.

This feature makes it easier to clear unwanted equipment from your inventory without visiting an NPC merchant.

How It Works

  • Select which equipment grades you want to sell.
  • Supported grades include Normal, Refined, Unique, and Elite.
  • Only Normal equipment is selected by default.
  • Preview the number of eligible items and the total Silver you'll receive.
  • Confirm the sale before any items are removed.

Equipment Protection

The system is designed to prevent valuable or enhanced equipment from being sold accidentally.

Items with upgrades, sockets, blessings, enchantments, composition progress, or special effects are excluded.

Equipped, locked, and other ineligible items are also protected.

Sale prices follow the regular NPC equipment-selling formula, including durability adjustments.

The server validates the selected items again before completing the transaction, helping prevent outdated confirmations from selling unintended equipment.

💰 Ground Loot & Silver Improvements

We've improved how dropped items appear and how players interact with loot on the ground.

Improved Ground Loot Display

  • Important drops remain individually visible.
  • Rare items, enhanced equipment, quest items, and other valuable rewards retain their own labels.
  • Nearby common items are grouped into a compact Loot ×N indicator.
  • Selecting a grouped loot indicator reveals the individual items.
  • Improved label positioning reduces clutter and overlapping text.
  • Loot lists adjust their position based on available screen space.

These changes help keep busy hunting areas readable without hiding important drops.

Silver Drop Handling

  • Improved handling of large Silver rewards.
  • Large amounts are safely divided into multiple piles when necessary.
  • Improved reward processing when multiple Silver drops are generated together.

🛒 Shop & Purchasing Improvements

We've refined shopping interactions across NPC merchants and supported VIP shops.

  • Added a clearer purchase confirmation interface.
  • Players can choose how many items to purchase.
  • Added convenient quantity options: 2, 5, 10, and Max.
  • The total purchase cost is displayed before confirmation.
  • Maximum quantities account for available currency and free inventory space.
  • Improved interaction between shop items and inventory slots.

These changes make purchasing multiple items more convenient while reducing accidental purchases.

💬 Chat & Item Sharing Improvements

We've continued refining the previously introduced chat item-linking system.

  • Ctrl + Click an inventory item to insert its link into chat on desktop.
  • Use a long press to link items on supported touchscreen devices.
  • Other players can select shared item links to inspect item details.
  • Improved the display of item enhancements and properties in shared item information.
  • Linked item details can include quality, plus level, gems, blessing, enchantment, durability, and composition progress.

These improvements make trading discussions and equipment comparisons more convenient.

🎨 Browser Client & Visual Improvements

Several improvements have been made to item rendering, character effects, and general presentation.

Visual Effects

  • Improved rendering of effects associated with character actions.
  • Added support for additional classic client effect mappings.
  • Improved second-rebirth effect visibility for both your character and nearby players.
  • Corrected transparency issues affecting certain visual effects.
  • Improved character disappearance effects and other rendering details.

Additional Browser Improvements

  • Improved handling of map transitions and certain map variations.
  • Refined ground-item positioning and visual presentation.
  • Improved inventory and item catalog interactions.
  • Updated various interface elements and gameplay resources.
  • Continued improvements to browser stability and overall usability.

🔄 Dual Character Switching Improvements

We've continued refining the two-character browser client experience.

  • Improved session switching and recovery.
  • Refined connection-status handling.
  • Updated the dual-session HUD for more consistent behaviour.

These changes improve the existing dual-character switching functionality.

🌐 Website & Quality-of-Life Improvements

  • Improved links between the browser client and relevant Tempest Conquer Wiki pages.
  • Added easier access to information about game events and activities.
  • Improved character session information available through the website.
  • Refined quest progression and reward handling.
  • Additional improvements to VIP functionality and gameplay interactions.

We're continuing to improve the existing systems while gradually expanding the world and adding more activities for players to enjoy.

This update brings more places to hunt, easier inventory management, cleaner loot interactions, and a range of improvements designed to make everyday gameplay more enjoyable.

There are still areas we're working to polish, and we'll continue refining the experience based on testing and player feedback.

Thank you for playing and supporting Tempest Conquer!
