Patch 1.1.55 — TEMPEST Letter Collection, Events Panel & Gameplay Improvements
We're continuing to expand Tempest Conquer with new activities, improvements to existing events, character progression adjustments, and further enhancements to the browser client.
This update introduces the new TEMPEST Letter Collection daily quest, a dedicated Events Panel, improvements to Survival Arena and New Island, and a range of fixes covering Guild War, item collection, combat, and server stability.
📜 New Daily Quest — TEMPEST Letter Collection
A new daily collection quest gives players another reason to explore the world and hunt monsters.
Visit the LetterKeeper in Twin City (391, 313) to begin collecting the letters needed to spell TEMPEST.
How It Works
- Speak with the LetterKeeper to activate your daily collection quest.
- Hunt eligible monsters to obtain special letter drops.
- Collect the required letters to complete the word TEMPEST.
- Return to the LetterKeeper once your collection is complete.
- Exchange your letters for experience and CP rewards.
Required Letters
You'll need to collect seven letters:
- T × 2
- E × 2
- M × 1
- P × 1
- S × 1
Drop Rules
- Eligible monsters have a 2.5% chance to drop a quest letter.
- Monsters must be within 30 levels of your character.
- Letter drops prioritize those you're still missing.
- Bosses tracked by the server and Survival Arena monsters are excluded.
- Letters only drop while your collection quest is active.
Daily Rewards
Completing the collection rewards you with:
- 100 CP
- Experience equivalent to 2 EXP Balls
Experience is awarded directly to your character.
The collection can be completed once per character per day, resetting at 00:00 UTC.
Extra letters are preserved when redeeming a completed collection.
The Quest Panel also tracks your collection progress and helps guide you towards suitable hunting areas or back to the LetterKeeper.
📅 New Events Panel
We've introduced a dedicated Events Panel to make discovering and participating in server activities easier.
Instead of relying entirely on announcements or remembering event schedules, players can now access event information directly from the browser client.
Event Information
The panel organizes activities into PvE and PvP categories, displaying information such as:
- Event descriptions and objectives.
- Scheduled times and availability.
- Current registration or participation status.
- Available actions for joining or starting events.
Events may display statuses including:
- Live Now
- Registration Open
- Upcoming
- Cooldown
- Closed
- Unavailable
Event Participation
Supported activities include:
- Last Man Standing
- Class PK Tournament
- Survival Arena
- Tempest Abyss
- Guild War
Available actions depend on the event's current server-side state.
For example, registration options appear when registration is permitted, while event entry and participation controls follow the server's availability rules.
We've also expanded event-related integration with the Quest Panel.
🏆 Survival Arena Improvements
We've continued refining Survival Arena, our solo PvE challenge, with adjustments to monster progression, rewards, and combat difficulty.
Monster Waves
- Early waves select enemies closer to your character's level.
- Later waves become progressively more challenging.
- Higher-level characters receive a dedicated monster progression.
- Satan appears every 10th wave.
- BeastSatan appears every 20th wave.
- Later-wave monster damage and difficulty have been adjusted.
Recovery Between Waves
Successfully completing a wave restores:
- 50% of your maximum HP
- 100% of your Mana
- 100% of your Stamina
Arena monsters do not drop regular loot.
CP Rewards
CP rewards increase as players reach important wave milestones.
Examples include:
- Waves 1–4: 20 CP per wave.
- Wave 5: 120 CP.
- Wave 10: 140 CP.
- Wave 20: 180 CP.
- Wave 25 and subsequent fifth-wave milestones: 200 CP.
Other later waves award 100 CP each.
Participation Rules
- Survival Arena remains a solo activity.
- A one-hour cooldown applies after starting an attempt.
- Players can start up to five attempts within a rolling 12-hour period.
- Dying, leaving, or disconnecting ends the current attempt.
These adjustments aim to provide a more consistent challenge while rewarding players who progress further into the Arena.
🗺️ New Island — Progression & Monster Balancing
We've continued refining New Island as a high-level hunting destination.
Monster Improvements
- Increased monster experience rewards on New Island to 2×.
- Retuned the progression and combat statistics of the RedDevil monster family.
- Adjusted monster HP, attack, accuracy, and dodge.
- Improved difficulty scaling across the level 120–140 range.
- Updated Hades Lord health balancing relative to high-level regular monsters.
Equipment Drops
New Island now has adjusted equipment enhancement chances:
- 7.5% chance for eligible non-weapon equipment to receive a +1 enhancement.
- Weapons continue using their existing enhancement chance rules.
These changes provide additional progression opportunities for high-level players while maintaining distinct equipment drop balancing.
🧪 New Super EXP Potion
A new Super EXP Potion has been introduced for players looking to accelerate their experience progression.
- Provides a 5× EXP potion multiplier.
- Lasts for one hour.
- Available through the VIP Mall for CP.
- Priced at five times the regular EXP Potion.
The Super EXP Potion offers a stronger alternative to the existing experience potion.
⚔️ Guild War Improvements
We've continued refining Guild War scoring, participation rewards, and champion recognition.

- Refined visual recognition for guild leaders, deputies, and alliance members.
- Champion recognition is retained until a new Guild War result is determined.
These changes aim to make Guild War progression, scoring, and rewards more consistent.
🔄 Event Stability & Restart Recovery
We've implemented additional server-side recovery support for several scheduled events.
Previously, an unexpected server restart could interrupt event progress or reset event timing.
The new recovery system is designed to preserve active event information and restore eligible runs after a restart.
Supported Events
- Last Man Standing
- Class PK Tournament
- Pole Domination
- City War
- Guild War
- Meteor Shower
- DragonBall Shower
- Tempest Abyss
Recovery Improvements
- Preserves event phases, participants, scores, and remaining time.
- Retains Guild War gate and pole states, alliance scores, and round progress.
- Preserves tournament brackets and elimination status.
- Keeps shower events tied to their original ending times.
- Retains Tempest Abyss wave and surviving-monster progress.
- Improves reward processing to prevent duplicate event rewards.
- Supports delayed delivery of certain rewards when a player is offline or their inventory is full.
These improvements are intended to reduce lost progress and interruptions caused by server restarts.
Note: Survival Arena is not covered by this restart-recovery system.
🎒 Ground Item Pickup Improvements
We've improved server-side item pickup handling to make collecting loot more reliable.
- Improved validation of item ownership and pickup permissions.
- Refined distance and map checks when collecting dropped items.
- Improved handling of items that have expired or are no longer available.
- Added safeguards against duplicate pickup rewards.
- Improved inventory capacity and currency-limit checks.
- Refined item removal and collection notifications.
These changes help prevent situations where the same ground item could be collected more than once or awarded incorrectly.
