Quest steps
- Speak with Old Quarrier in Ape City and start the Siege Bomb quest.
- Defeat Bandits until you collect 20 Crude Saltpeter. Each eligible kill has a 5% chance to drop one while this stage is active.
- Return to Old Quarrier to refine the Saltpeter.
- Defeat BanditL33 until you collect 5 Sulphur. Each eligible kill has a 3% chance to drop one while this stage is active.
- Take the Sulphur to Norbert in Maple Forest. Bring 100,000 Silver and leave room in your inventory for the Siege Bomb.
Norbert consumes the quest materials and Silver when he crafts the bomb. The reward is one Siege Bomb.
Using a Siege Bomb
Use the bomb during an active Guild War while your character is alive and within 5 tiles of an eligible gate. A successful bomb deals damage equal to 25% of the gate's maximum HP, up to the gate's remaining HP; for a gate with 10,000,000 maximum HP, that is 2,500,000 damage. A successful use consumes the bomb and kills your character.
The server checks the war, gate, and distance before consuming the item. An invalid attempt does not consume the bomb. Four successful hits can deal enough damage to destroy a gate that starts at full health.
Tracking or restarting the quest
In the Quest Panel, select Siege Bomb to see the current stage, collected materials, next target, and reward. When a route is available, choose Path Finding to follow walkable tiles and portals toward the quest target. Cancel from the on-screen control, press Space or Escape, or move/interact manually to stop navigation.
You can abandon an accepted Siege Bomb quest from the panel after confirming. Abandoning removes your collected Crude Saltpeter and Sulphur and resets the quest; speak with Old Quarrier to start again.
