🧹 Weekly Map Cleansing
Weekly Map Cleansing is NewIsland's weekly hunting assignment. Accept the task from the Island Quest Master, clear the required number of regular island monsters, then return to claim your reward.

The EXP is awarded directly to your character. No EXP Ball items are added.
How to complete it
- Travel to NewIsland with the Adventure Guide in Twin City if you are not already there. Your first trip is free; later trips cost 25 CP unless you are VIP, in which case travel is free.
- Speak with the Island Quest Master at (380,130) and choose Accept Map Cleansing before you start hunting. The required total is set for that run: 300 for non-Archers and 500 for Archers.
- Defeat qualifying regular monsters on NewIsland. Event-owned monsters do not count. Progress counts across the island's hunting areas, and only kills made after accepting the assignment count.
- Check the Quest List to track your total. When it is complete, return to the Island Quest Master and choose Claim my weekly reward.
- Receive 250 CP and direct EXP equal to five EXP Balls.
Weekly progress and claims
Your weekly reward is counted when you claim it, not when you accept the assignment. If Monday's reset passes while you are still hunting, your active assignment and unfinished progress remain saved; continue the same run and report back when it is complete. Progress also survives logout and server restart.
The weekly claim limit resets at Monday 00:00 UTC. After you have claimed, another weekly assignment becomes available when the weekly limit clears.
